A dear friend has a vintage embroidery above her bed that reads , Happy Thoughts. It's charming and sweet and made me feel happy when I saw it.It also made me wonder who it was originally made for and why. Was there someone who was plagued by sad thoughts and needed a reminder to think happy ones? Regardless it made me happy. This piece has half of an old tin wind up toy of a duck who looks like he is thinking happy thoughts.
