I sold my V W bug and took a leave of absence from my job so I could go to India with a group of artists to see textile art and meet the artists. It was the trip of a lifetime. I had never seen so much color and pattern everywhere I looked.The food was so good, the places we stayed were beautiful, the people were kind, thoughtful and patient. Monkeys, dogs and cows everywhere and scary tuk-tuk rides through crowded streets. This is the first tin piece I did upon returning. I wanted to try recreating the colors I had seen and this is what I made.
